Hello Dear Friends and Visitors,

I've finally made it back to my journal to draft a little update for you! It seems that Mother Nature has finally had enough of the gripping cold, grey haze and shivers of the late-winter days: spring is all around us! I've noticed that several birds around my home are singing louder and louder with each passing dawn (blackbirds are especially cheerful!), the long-awaited sunrays are building up strength and...flowers are popping everywhere above ground! To celebrate the advent of true springtime, I've put together a colorful bunch of eye-catching flower shots. You know, I've got a respective folder among my faves reserved only for these beauties...with their interesting forms, vibrant colors and wild variety they just make me smile each and every time!

Dear Friends and Visitors,

I've finally managed to spare the time and write a new entry to greet you all in the new year! Since the last days of December, I've been busy coping with an intriguing lot of bothersome things around our home. First, I needed to buy a new notebook computer, because my trusty old Acer has suddenly died (after nearly 6 years of service - RIP!). Only a couple of days later, our boiler got a leak: it took the repairmen 10 days to arrange for spare parts and fix it, all amidst some hefty freezing temperatures... We were lucky having a usable fireplace in the living room, still the situation was far from convenient. Having heating restored, it took only a day for the washing machine to break down...that was the moment, when I began to feel truly frustrated. We have spent a 4-months budget in only 30 days of time. That's not good.

I sincerely hope, that you Guys had better luck than I had in the first weeks of 2011 and are feeling happy, energetic and bustling with creativity! I've prepared a little something for you to browse through. Underneath, you will find a small sample of monochrome photos chosen from among my faves. I think they are truly fascinating...in case you feel the same way, make sure to drop by the respective artists and say hello!

Dear Friends,

I'm SO MUCH excited, because (oh my GOD!) I've just received a DD on one of my abstract shots, "Orange and Lime"!!



I am absolutely honoured: my work being found worthy of sharing with the grand devious community (that means You, Guys!), is the most magnificent surprise I've ever received all through my yet-not-too-long career as an amateur photographer!

Let me fly a most heartfelt of thanks to Kaz-D for selecting "Orange and Lime", and everyone else who decided or decides to pay me and my photo a visit!

I'm here with a joyous announcement today - a few days ago, I've been lucky enough to celebrate my first DeviantArt birthday!

I've had a truly great time among you, Guys - dA is such a great place to gather around and submerge into a fantastic universe of rockin' creativity! I'm looking forward to spending the coming year around too, checking on awesome art and sharing my own ceations with everyone who wishes to see them!

This time, I was looking for a theme that is special in some way...and it didn't take much time, until I stumbled upon it!
