I've finally made it back to my journal to draft a little update for you!:) It seems that Mother Nature has finally had enough of the gripping cold, grey haze and shivers of the late-winter days: spring is all around us!:w00t: I've noticed that several birds around my home are singing louder and louder with each passing dawn (blackbirds are especially cheerful!), the long-awaited sunrays are building up strength and...flowers are popping everywhere above ground! I've finally managed to spare the time and write a new entry to greet you all in the new year!:) Since the last days of December, I've been busy coping with an intriguing lot of bothersome things around our home. First, I needed to buy a new notebook computer, because my trusty old Acer has suddenly died (after nearly 6 years of service - RIP!). Only a couple of days later, our boiler got a leak: it took the repairmen 10 days to arrange for spare parts and fix it, all amidst some hefty freezing temperatures... We were lucky having a usable fireplace in the living room, still the situation was far from convenient. H

I am absolutely honoured: my work being found worthy of sharing with the grand devious community (that means You, Guys!), is the most magnificent surprise I've ever received all through my yet-not-too-long career as an amateur photographer!:happycry:
